Well, the response in the forums was generally that news should stay. Ok, I'm now using a (very funky) script called NewsPro to manage the news. This should make my life a lot easier and hopefully keep the news-addicts happy, too. I'll be able to update whenever I get something interesting instead of letting them pile up knee-deep in my inbox and posting big updates every few days like I did until now. Of course, all feedback is welcome!
If you're looking for something mentioned on the old news, you can see it here.. it's a huge text file, though (250kb+) and will be deleted when I need space. :) It was last updated on Tue 07-March-2000 (what a slacker) so if that was the last one you saw then don't bother looking at it.
